Regarding public transit and transportation to and from local Washington DC airports:
  • Door-to-door shuttles like SuperShuttle run regularly from all three airports:
  • From Dulles International Airport, shuttles cost about $25; cab fare is about $50.
  • From Reagan National Airport, shuttles cost $10-$15; cab fare is about $15.
  • From Baltimore-Washington International Airport, shuttles cost about $30; cab fare is about $60.
  • Metro riders should get off at the McPherson Square or Dupont Circle stop. (see walking directions below)

Walking Directions to our hotel from Washington DC's metro stops:

  • Walking From McPherson Square to Hotel Helix.

Exit station at Vermont Street Exit. Turn Left on 15th Street and continue 5 blocks north to Rhode Island Ave. Turn Right and the hotel will be on the first block to the right.

  • Walking From Dupont Circle to Hotel Helix

Exit station at South Side. Go right around the circle to Massachusetts and turn Right. Continue to Scott Circle and go left around circle. Turn Left on Rhode Island and the hotel will be two blocks on the right.

Driving From the West or Dulles Airport.

Take Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) to the east towards Washington DC. There is no toll if going to or from the airports. Continue to I-66 east towards Washington DC. Take the E Street exit and turn left on 18th street. Turn Right on Massachusetts. Continue to Scott Circle and go left around circle. Turn Left on Rhode Island and the hotel will be two blocks on the right.

Driving From the South or Ronald Regan (National) Airport

Take I-95 north to I-395 north. Continue on I-395 north to the exit for US-1/14th Street. Exit on to US-1/14th street and continue north for approximately 1 mile. Continue through Thomas Circle and pick up 14th street between the churches. Make a left on Rhode Island Ave and the hotel is on the first block to the left.

Driving From the Northeast or BWI Airport

Take I-95 South towards Washington DC. Merge onto 295 south, Baltimore Washington Parkway. Take the Exit for US-50 towards Downtown. Continue along New York Avenue to Mt. Vernon Square and the New Convention Center. Stay to the right and pick up Massachusetts. Turn Right on 14th Street at Thomas Circle between the churches. Make a left on Rhode Island Ave and the hotel is on the first block to the left.

Driving From the Northwest

Take I-270 to I-495 East. Exit on 16th street to the south (right). Turn Left on P Street, and right on 14th street. Make a right on Rhode Island Ave and the hotel is on the first block to the left.
